The rooms are specious, beautiful and very clean. When we were checking out the personnel was very polite and friendly. They even offered us some bottles of water for our drive coming home. It’s a beautiful and big casino they even has a hall room across from the casino to play bingo. The food is delicious and good prices too.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Viejas Casino & Resort, and I have to say, it was an outstanding experience, largely thanks to their incredible host, Katy! She went above and beyond to ensure my stay was smooth and enjoyable, offering personalized recommendations and making sure I had everything I needed. The casino itself is top-notch, with a wide variety of games and a lively, welcoming atmosphere. The staff is friendly, and the facilities are clean and well-maintained. But what truly stood out to me was the exceptional service provided by Katy. She is an absolute professional with a genuine passion for making guests feel special. Whether you're a seasoned gambler or just looking for a fun time, Viejas Casino & Resort is the place to be, and Katy is without a doubt one of the best hosts in the business! I can't wait for my next visit. Highly recommend!
If you're a gambler, Viejas Casino is a nice weekend getaway to do just that. I haven't stayed at the hotel yet but plan on it with my husband soon. There is an outlet across the street that adds to the day. My hubby plays craps, only 1 side of the table was open, we had to wait til 12p for the other side to open. The slots are cool, the bartender made very good drinks. Overall, the casino is nice, clean, bathrooms are clean, Overall a fun casino! We will definitely be back soon.
Terrible Reservation Experience – Don’t Trust What You Book I’m beyond frustrated with my stay at Viejas Hotel & Casino in Alpine. What’s the point of making a reservation if they’re just going to ignore it? I specifically booked a non-smoking room, only to be told at check-in that they were overbooked and nothing non-smoking was available. Seriously? It’s outrageous that a hotel of this size and reputation can’t manage their bookings properly. Overbooking is bad enough, but putting someone in a smoking room when they reserved non-smoking is unacceptable — especially when it’s clearly listed on the reservation. It’s not just an inconvenience, it’s a health issue for some people. The front desk staff didn’t seem surprised, which tells me this happens all the time. If you're thinking about staying here and actually want the room type you booked, don’t bet on it. This place is a gamble in all the wrong ways.
Viejas is a beautiful resort and casino. I always enjoy gambling here. Employees are friendly, clean bathrooms, a very wide selection of slots machines to play, and a self-service sode/coffee station in certain areas. I've stayed once and enjoyed my room. Very nice. I will return soon
Wife and I went up on Memorial Day, what a nice little day trip. We played bingo actually won at bingo, so you never know. After bingo we head over to the casino, play the slots and picked up a blanket American flag giveaway. What a great day to be up at Viejas very much enjoyable. Inside was exceptionally clean at the casino and bingo hall.
Rooms were not rated because I cannot afford them. But, pictures look fantastic maybe one day I can book a stay. The casino is beautiful and restaurants and bars are superb. Friendly helpful staff. Lots of gaming choices including horse racing and bingo. Fun , fun with games of chance. Location of casino is beautiful scenic country on tribal land. Lots of fruit and vegetable stands to visit along the way.
I love this casino the rooms are huge and they're beautiful on the new Wing side I forgot what it's called but there are loving the sweets. The service is always on point especially when I go to the food court cashier's desk for the concierge. I'm always treated kindly, politely, and with respect and everyone is so professional. I gave the location three because it's too damn far from my house, but other than that everything else is good. The shower heads and the bathtubs are to die for. Oh there is one thing that I don't like and that's the food and beverages they put in the room. If it's not free then don't put it in my room unless I ask for it. When you come in at the wee hours you be hungry and sleepy the first thing you do is grab a bag or pack of something. Until you remember that you have rj to pay for it.
